I'm Christine and I was born and raised in Burien, WA. My entire life I
have been interested in hair. I started by helping my brother "frost" his
hair back in the days before training with Gene Juarez Academy. I also
enjoyed trying to highlight my hair with "sun-in." The good 'ole bathroom
days with a blowdryer before my mom could notice are gone. After getting a few bad haircuts I began to notice I was left with an unruly frizz, until I found someone willing to teach me how to tame & style these locks.
I now love my hair and my goal is to help everyone feel the same way.

I have always loved butterflies, they are my muse.  I also believe in magic.  I was born with the gift of seeing people, listening to their dreams and passions.  Add a little CD magic and with scissors and color I transform.  My clients take flight into the world.  Watching them fly is addicting.  I have always known since I was a girl cutting my little sisters hairJ that I wanted to be a stylist.  I’m also practical, I am a firm believer you have to make your own luck and work hard to make your dreams come true. 

I began my career humbly at Renton beauty school.  Building upon that I went to the Gene Juarez advanced training center in downtown Seattle for two years where I specialized in high color.  For eleven  years, I worked for Gene Juarez Salon & Spa as top technician and educator, during that time I trained in Paris, New York and Italy.  I’ve traveled the world, participated in award wining hair shows, was the personal stylist to celebrities and was fortunate enough to be in a series of commercials doing Josie Besset’s hair.  But something called me back to Renton and like a butterfly I too returned and began CD Danza Salon & Spa with my husband Ken and my son, Lucas.  Eight years later we’re still going strong!    

It takes community to make a place special and at CD Danza Salon & Spa it has definitely taken a village to build an amazing place where people from our community touch down upon our door for a little magic.

Hi, I'm Ryan. I had the amazing opportunity to begin my training at the renowned Gene Juarez Academy, Federal Way campus. I enjoyed school, learned a lot and was anxious to start my career.

I trained in advanced techniques with CD Danza Salon & Spa, and am now a Level I stylist. I enjoy people and teaching tips of maintaining their style at home. During my off work time I absolutely love spending it with my daughter.

Hey, hey! My name is JJ.. Art an being creative are two very important things in my life that I've always been passionate about. When I was a little girl I dreamed of being a hair stylist when I grew up. Now that I have grown up I feel very blessed to wake up and love what I do, because my dream came true! I'm putting art into motion and I am dedicated to making people feel good about themselves. I grew up in Renton and my family's here too. I'm my spare time, I'm always doing something exciting! I go roller skating, play rock band on my Wii, draw, paint, and just basically live life! CD Danza has allowed me to continue to grow and to connect with the community and my guests. Family, friends and my career are the 3 most important things in my life. Watching my sister at her skateboarding competitions, spending time with friends, or bringing out peoples individuality through their hair, I have discovered who I am. I'm always striving to enrich my life through these experiences and more. I look forward to making your hair incredible and creating for a very long time!

Hi, my name is Sandra. Chances are we have met at the front desk! I am the receptionist here at CD Danza. I recently moved here from Florida where I was in a client service based industry. I chose to work at this salon because I love to talk with people and help them find the right products as well as recommending a stylist or spa service provider. Hi CD Danza Salon & Spa guests! I've been working here for about 4 months now and boy do I love it! Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. My whole life I've been a naturally nurturing person, so when my eyes were open to the world of skin care and giving the human body a little TLC, I was hooked! I, myself have always suffered with problematic high maintenance skin. With the education I have I try not to only educate others, but I want to practice what I preach (although sometimes I can overeat an oreo or two!) Your skin not only reflects the outside but always reflects how you take care of it from the inside. Your skin is your body's number one defense in life. My philosophy is that you should always feel good about you body; your body is your temple. I've been an esthetician now for a few years an have received sincere greatness from the work that I'm passionate about, it's not just a career it's my day-to-day life long goal.
